Cinderella (Apr. 26 – June 8)
by William Glennon
Suggested Age: All Ages
Reviews across the country have heralded this version of Cinderella—"only Peter Pan matches it for natural hilarity. The two are alike in understanding what children want a play to be: an extension of their own play with which they can fully identify... it has comedy, poignancy, charm and enchantment in just the right amounts." This is the funniest and most enchanting version of the beloved story available. It will magically entertain every young Cinderella and Prince and even the older folk who remember what childhood imagination is like. Don’t miss this classic tale. |

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (Sept. 20 – Nov. 2)
by Kathryn Schultz Miller
Suggested Age: Elementary School to Adults
“I hear tell of a ghost on horseback...without a head. He is often seen in these parts hurrying along in the gloom of night...” -- Brom Bones
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Washington Irving’s spooky classic, is presented with all the thrills, chills, and laughs that keep young and old alike on the edge of their seats. The storybook tale revolves around the main characters—the bumbling, awkward schoolteacher, Ichabod Crane, the coquettish Katrina and Ichabod’s brutish rival, Brom Bones. As much fun as the play presents, it saves the best for last—the ride of the headless horseman. This adaptation remains dedicated to the spirit and storyline of Washington Irving’s work. |

A Winnie the Pooh Christmas Tail (Dec. 6 – Dec. 28)
Book, music and lyrics by James W. Rodgers
Suggested Age: All Ages
A very special Friend-and-Relation tells Christopher Robin a story of a Christmas Eve very long ago (about last year) when Eeyore, the old gray donkey who lives by himself in the thistle corner of Hundred-Acre Wood, was absolutely miserable. It seems that he lost his tail and Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet got all of their friends and a search was organized. There is a great deal of fun and excitement, plus delightful songs, in the adventure that follows. Its theme, which concerns caring, sharing and the importance of cultivating friends, makes this a very special and enchanting musical. |
